The following: Got a new iPhone recently. The Bestsign app was activated on my old iPhone so that after logging in to Postbank online banking (via laptop) I was able to complete my registration by fingerprinting (on the iPhone).
I also installed this app on the new iPhone, but it does not respond when I log in to online banking using a laptop. Do I have to set up an extra ID for the new device?
When changing the mobile device, you have to go through the complete registration process with the respective bank again for all mobile banking apps that are used for authentication. Authentication takes place at device hardware level, which is why the new cell phone has to be set up again at the bank when changing the device.
As it is now set up, the bank tries to approve it using BestSign on the old iPhone.
