I want to upgrade a 1tb SSD on my laptop. Which would work well? (Doesn't want to spend that much money.)

A completely normal SSD that is commercially available

Are there SSDs that would not fit?
(Cable / space)

They are actually all the same. Just have to make sure that it is a SATA SSD. There are different ones like M.2. Then they don't fit.
