My new laptop now and then simply starts up and back on again, although all applications remain open. The operating system is - how can you expect it differently with an error message - Windows 10. What could be the reason?
The folding mechanism probably has an error. It notices when you close it and switches to the power mode, so to speak, but your applications remain open. If you open up again you will be back where you were when you closed it. Your laptop probably has an improperly soldered contact that is connected from time to time with minimal movement. Go to Saturn or something and have a look.

therefore you do not get an error message that is difficult to say can cause everything, too little amperage on the network or a driver error, hardware defect, power option etc.
You can open the Explorer under Windows key + E> right-click on This PC> Properties> Advanced System Settings> Start and Restore also click on Settings there> remove the checkmark at "Automatically restart"
The next time your book is restarted, a blue screen should appear and a file will be created in the minidump order under Windows.
Now you can read the minidump file and there's exactly what causes the restart or the error.
