Huawei eRecovery data loss?

My Huawei P20 lite suddenly crashed an hour ago and has been showing the notification shown in the picture ever since. I can't access the link on my laptop. I already followed the first instruction with the power button, but the screen only went black for a short time and then the same notification came again. I didn't know what was meant by the second option and I googled this eRecovery and am now unsure because I've read that data can be lost in eRecovery mode and of course I want to avoid that. My question: Does anyone have experience with this situation and the Huawei eRecovery mode? Have you lost any data? Or does someone have a general tip what I can do now?

Try turning it off completely. So hold down the power button for 10 seconds and then switch it on again.

Point 2 applies when it's all over. Then you can turn it on again by holding down the volume up key and a recovery menu will appear. But first I would try to just restart it. So don't just press the power button briefly, but until it restarts.

I've tried everything, now just like the 2nd option with the eRecovery mode. The same thing always happens, the screen goes black for a moment, the Huawei logo appears and then the error message appears again. I'll just keep trying…
