Huawei P10-why does the google registration not work-what can I do Huawei P10-why does the google registration not work-what can I do - 1

Hello!

I bought a used smartphone on ebay - it's a Huawei P10, it's been reset to factory settings, so the data of the previous owner should be gone.

Now I've been trying to set it up for 2 days without success. To do this, I would have to log in with my Google account. And that just doesn't work. The device keeps showing me unknown errors and that I should try again in 24 hours or with a different account. The 24 hours are over since yesterday and are the same. Out of sheer desperation, I've already set up a new google account - also the same (see photo). I think the problem is somehow with the synchronization. But I have it automatically in the PC set then I don't have to do anything about it, or do I? (connected to the laptop via USB.)

Earlier I wrote to the seller. He just answered and said it should actually work then I would probably do something wrong. Yes, great-but what? So this answer doesn't really help me either. Resetting it again won't work because I can't even get access to the device - or does it work somehow and it might then work?

What else can I do? Can someone help me? Or do I have to throw the cell phone in the bin and miss the seller (private) for the junk he sold me? Have already thought about whether it is still a stolen item in the end and therefore somehow locked - can that be?

It would be nice if someone else knew something useful. The part didn't cost a fortune but it wasn't free and that's why it's annoying…

I can't read anything from the photo!

The Google registration is mandatory in the case (see second picture) because the account of the previous owner has not been removed.

Ha

The pictures are actually an impertinence, but the reason can be read on the second picture.

The device was reset before the previous owner's Google Account was removed.

This is where the Android security mechanism comes into play, i.e. You have to log in with a Google account that was used before the reset, with your mobile phone.

1. Remove old account

2. Reset again

3. Maybe the password is wrong

4. Network problems?!

5. Upload better pictures

6. Garbage can

Why a new cell phone? Old display badly scratched, I've already reworked the pictures several times, but with me in the PC you can also see it better

Jo

Aha.google makes it extra complicated again. But that helps me. My old device that I need for this when I have understood it correctly when I quickly skim the text is an iPhone, but I'm also logged into it with google. Have to go then, right? After these 72 hours at least?

de

You have to log in with a Google account that has already been used before the reset. So no.

Either you send the device back and the seller logs in and removes his accounts professionally or you have a useless smartphone.

Google doesn't make it complicated, it's just a theft mechanism.

Jo

Don't say that I didn't bother - the pictures are improved with photo shop AND again with paint - otherwise you could see nothing

My old display and camera have the best behind them - that's exactly why people buy a new phone again after years!

Ha

Wouldn't it have been easier to type in the error messages? Then it would have been a lot easier to read.

Jo

Oh no - as I said, I've only skimmed the article quickly so far. Then I'll have to talk to the previous owner again - But sending it back at my own expense I rather put it on top and then still don't know whether the bird still has its correct data hat.Dann I can bend it, it was not so expensive that I die because of it. That is the risk of the "good and cheap used eBay purchases" -is nothing new.

But that won't give a nice rating, you can be sure…

de

Buying used must be skillful.

Jo

Also an idea - But then anyone could doubt that the SO is there… Just prove again that a new phone is due, I have to get the wallet out with the seller if things are not going very well. SCH… -Used purchases! Better get something new!
