I'm 14 years old and have been homeschooling for four months. In the meantime I have completely lost motivation and then never feel like doing the tasks. Sometimes there are so many tasks that I mostly stare in front of the laptop and don't know where to start. Lately my daydreams have grown bigger and bigger. I'm always somewhere completely different with my thoughts. My grades have worsened a bit from before the lockdown until now. From day to day I can concentrate less and less on something. Is that normal?
Believe me, I felt the same way, and that's completely normal, because many students go through this time
Do you know you need a regular daily routine, here are my tips:
Getting up early: getting up around half past eight is very good, believe me
freshen up: don't walk around scruffy, dress properly, eat…
Do tasks: The best thing to do is turn off the internet and set yourself a timer
Take breaks in between: It is important to plan longer and shorter breaks
Planning: you definitely have to set a daily goal for what you want to achieve today. It is best to do at least one task alone, then tasks with friends and then with Study with mes (they are also motivating, you just have to see who is live) and you can do 3 tasks per day
Healthy food: Even if Corona is currently sucks, you have to pay attention to your health
Relaxation: don't just sit in front of your PC, go for a walk, meet with someone when you can
and if you stick to these tips, you will get a great result.
Get up early.
Mobile phone off, PC only when you need it.
Make a list of all the tasks you have to do today on a scrap of paper.
Do something that seems easy to you.
Then cross out that task.
Point 5 is important! You will find that the first task was completed in a short time and then you are motivated to tackle a new one.
If you need the PC for research, then please ONLY for research.
For larger jobs, make a mind map. That helps reliably, and what you have written down there you will never forget and it will help you to sort your thoughts. E.g. Homework.
