Hi, I was thinking of getting the new xboxSeriesS, but I figured out that it might be smarter to get a laptop (I don't want a PC) because it can do more things like for school and so on. But since we already have one at home, this point is largely irrelevant.

My friend also plays on xbox but maybe switches to pc.

Depends on what you want to play. You can't change the graphics card on the laptop. I got one from msi then got the gtx 1060 in it, played the cod cold war, a horrible crash on the laptop, etc. Other games CS Go, League of Legends no problems. I got a Series X that I'm happy to play on, are sold so that they go on the xbox. With the pc you had to replace the graphics card so that you can play newer games over time, hasg more of them. I also have the laptop with me, because it no longer crashes like my old laptop and top works, can do things faster, applications, emails and other things on the side. And if something happens, I can take it with me, that's why I got a laptop.

An xbox costs you 500 euro and you don't need to adjust anything for the purpose of the graphics card and so on, you also have a good piece, laptop is just like me just not so good in the long run for games, a pc itself is more recommendable and you swap the card from the graphics card.
