I need help. I have a laptop with two partitions, one with windows and one with linux mint. To the with Windows I forgot my password and I also have no recovery drive for it. For the mint partition, although I have the password, but it runs slowly and somehow turns off the internet every 10 minutes, so I have to restart the whole computer. Can I somehow fall back on the windows partition from linux and reset to factory settings or change the password?

Pr

That's fine.

But you can't explain that to you by Girlfriend. Therefore, I recommend going to a local computer handler or hacker club and asking for help.

pa

You can use OPHCrack and search for the password table in Windows.

pa

Why can't you explain that to him? OPHCrack is free and legal as long as you use it on your own computer

Pr

Then do it, if you think that's possible.

pa

Sure, that's okay. Have done that with the tool for some friends. 10-20 minutes then you have the password. Just look at how powerful the tool is. Is also used in illegal circles very much because it provides easy access to the system

Can I install it on linux mint 32bit? If so, could you please send me a link?

pa

You have to start it externally via a USB stick. Do you have to Googlen times there are quite a few instructions for

Since when is this? Did you change anything? Is there enough space available (should a bit of free space always be available)? Have you ever considered reinstalling?

You should be able to easily integrate the partition after installing NTFS-3G:

apt-get install ntfs-3g
