Can I no longer add an empty partition on a hard drive to the main partition?

Until noon today I still have a Linux partition on my laptop in addition to Windows, which I no longer wanted. So I deleted the volume from the Linux partition in the disk management. Now I have a 115GB partition, which has the status "Unallocated". I would like to add this back to the main partition of my hard drive. To do this, I just wanted to go to the corresponding partition and enlarge it via volume, reassign the volume to the main partition.

However, this does not work and I get the error message: "The selected GPT-formatted disk contains a partition that is not of the type" PARTITION_BASIC_DATA_GUID "and that is both preceded and followed by a partition of the type" PARTITION_BASIC_DATA_GUID "." I've already researched the internet, but haven't found a solution.
