I have been playing Sims 4 for a long time and have many addons. I also use custom content but for some days the game can only be opened without mods and CC. I've updated my laptop and the game and repaired the game over Origin as well. I also emptied the chache. And do not know next. As soon as I add Modsund CC and start the game, it sticks to the Sims logo. As soon as I remove the mods and CC, it's back to normal.
What can I do so that I can use CC / Mods again? The CC and Mods are all up to date files
So I have the same "problem" but that is quite normal. - just wait. The loading times are then just extremely long, but it goes - at least for me

With pleasure. Reports then! So I have over 6000 CC "articles" and I take it easy 10 minutes to start the game - if I have selected my file again so 5 Minuten.nervig but then it has its custom content
So. I have it loaded now 1h. But it does not work. The screen is frozen. I had over 700 CC stuff inside and sorted it down to 50. Nothing works.
In most cases, it depends on an update / patch, script mods. CCs are very rarely the cause.
So check and move to test all your script mods in another test folder. Then check if your update status (patch-level) is correct. If there are any updates of these mods, if not you have to let them out of the game.

Hmm strangely. Then perhaps something of your cc defective. Times you download a "filter" down. Who looks through which your cc's could be defective. Do you have to google google
