I have the sims4 for 2 years and have a world that I have really developed during this time. Which is why this game means all the more to me. I have built tens of thousands of sime houses. Of course with a lot of mods and cheats. Some time ago, I even found Wicked Whim and downloaded it to me (a mod to have sex) does not ask why)). Even then I noticed that my game has become much slower. But it worked very well. And I also often had to do anti-virus installations. Exactly today I downloaded mods from Pinterest, they always directed me to any Korean pages but it all seems to be relatively reputable. I had to delete some mods because otherwise I could not start the game. When I deleted the buggy mods, my game did not work anymore. It usually worked with a double tap, but now loads the little arrow and then stops again and it does not even try to start. I then updated my game at Origin and then it worked. Without deleting my mods. After that, everything went away. My sime my houses, everything. And now after I shut down my laptop and tried again after three hours, it does not even try to start. I'm getting the crisis. Please help me. I've really spent two years creating a whole existence for this game haha.
If you have a lot of mods and CC, as you said, it may be because of it. Either because CC can't stand together or because they are just too many mods.

Download it once and then scan your mods folder and look if there are any conflicts or similar.
I also had the problem when I only had an overlay for the Sims phone so it would show up as an iPhone and even my mod was not starting my game anymore. And if you have Whicked Whim and so many others, then it's clear the game will not start at some point.
It could also be that the mods you have had an update but that is not automatically done. Then you have to go back to the page where you have downloaded the mods (not CC) and read whether there may have been an update. Had such a problem synonymous, as the mod has been updated for more columns in the CAS and I have not noticed.
I can tell you the number of mods. There are over 3,000 pieces. Most of them are the empty Zip folders. I slapped them all in there. And I will someday choose a day to punch out my mods folder. Normally the mods are all in the mods folder, but when the game starts they will not appear in this mods list that always comes up.
