I hope you can help me in some way.
I have a problem with my WLAN speed on my notebook.
That's why I looked for a new, suitable driver. The original driver from the manufacturer's website (MSI) does not really work, as only WLAN mode g (22Mbit / s) is available. Normally, WLAN mode n (72Mbit / s) should be available. I couldn't find another driver for my system.
I have an "MSI GE60 2OE" notebook which, according to the manufacturer, supports the 802.11b / g / n standard.
A "Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC" chip is installed.
I thank you in advance for all who contact me!
Then download the drivers directly from realtek. https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/advanced-search/72?Itemid=276
Thanks for your answer, but the drivers there are for everything except my "RTL8723AE".
I figured out the bug after some trial and error.
It wasn't the card or the driver.
It only worked after my FritzBox switched from "WPS2 and WPS3" to "WPS2 and CCMP". That was because my card was simply too old and the FritzBox then neglected it for some reason, even though it supports WPS2.
I hope that my experience will also help someone else.
