Hi. I would connect the sound from the cell phone and the laptop to a headset device.
There are audio splitters, but are there also the other way round? An audio collector, so to speak? I haven't found anything more specific about this on Google. Are there any alternative solutions?
You can use an audio splitter the other way around! (But you still need a socket to socket jack plug in addition to the splitter) A slightly more expensive variant would be a mixer or audio interface. (The first variant would be cheaper and more convenient!) With the first variant, you simply have to insert an AUX cable from the mobile phone into a socket on the splitter and plug the same cable (but from the notebook) into the other socket. Now plug this socket to socket adapter into the output of the splitter and then connect the headset!
I just ordered audio splitters. Let's see if I can do it.
