I want to get a new iPad for my pharmacy studies, I can't work so well on my laptop, is the 3rd generation iPad Pro worth it or should I buy a newer one or is a normal one enough?

I have the ipad pro 11 inch 2018 for school or high school and I'm totally satisfied, I have to decide for myself whether it is suitable

A touchpad makes more sense to work, this is only intended for the Pro at the moment as far as I know.
