I go to high school after the holidays and therefore wanted to buy an iPad.
Since I don't have a laptop and I want to do all school work with the iPad, so to speak, it should at least last until I graduate from high school (2023).
I fluctuate between the iPad Air 2019 and the iPad Pro 2018 in 64 GB
I would get the iPad Pro for almost 700 euro, since it is currently on offer. You also have FaceID and you can use the 2nd generation Apple Pencil.
However, I don't know if the iPad Air is better than the Pro version.
I've also heard that new iPads are coming this year, but I doubt it's worth the wait.
Which iPad can you recommend to me? What are your experiences?
Ideally no ipad or anything else from appel buy something sensible with android
The pro is better, purely from the specs.
But for school? The normal, inexpensive iPad is enough.
This is a classic case of too much equipment for too little use - you simply won't need the whole technology.
But if you have the money, have fun.
Android + reasonable, don't you think so yourself?
Are you even allowed to use iPads at school? Or is it only temporarily because of Corona?
For example, I also bought an iPad. However for the university.
Basically, the Pro variant is more powerful than the Air variant.
Say: Air - Surfing / Casual and Pro: Image editing etc.
But you can say that out loud for someone who has no idea
If you really want to do work, you shouldn't get a tablet and certainly not an iPad.
You only use it because you want to be fancy and it looks good in a Snapchat story, to which you then write "learn 🙄😫".
A laptop or "two in one" such as an HP Specter (costs something, but the principle becomes clear) makes a lot more sense.
for school, however, I would always rely on paper + pen. Is significantly cheaper, you do not have to charge and do what it should.
We can use the iPad from the upper level. Besides, I don't know what to do after the holidays (homeschooling etc.)
No.
Then everything is fine but I'm serious please not appel
Such a cheek, the school system. With us (born in 2018) we weren't allowed to.
But yes. If you treat it well, you will probably be able to use the iPad up to university.
Maybe not for everything like me, but for transcripts.
Next to it a laptop and you are safe.
Thanks 🙏
Yes, the teachers have now made this decision just because of Corona and said that everyone in the upper school may work digitally!
This will not be my first iPad. I also have an iPhone.
So yes, subjectively speaking, it's great that you have this opportunity.
Used it!
Thank you! Which iPad did you buy?
Alright?
Ah yes exactly. I wanted to tell you that.
I would advise you to wait for the iPad Pro 2021 Q1.
In general, I would also recommend the Pro. Can simply more and has more battery (?). It's best to compare the specs on the Internet. (GSMArena)
Was in the Apple Shop at the time and asked if an iPad Pro would come in the near future. One said: No. Then I bought the 2017 Pro model and after 2 months the 2018 model was announced. ^^
Thanks 😊
Then I think I'll buy the iPad Pro 2018! It is currently on offer and I would get the Apple Pencil cheaper.
Honestly, would advise against an iPad and recommend a convertible (e.g. The HP Envy x360). As the name suggests, it is a combination of laptop and tablet (screen can be folded over 360 °) and will bring you much more at school and then later during your studies than an iPad. Regardless, the price-performance ratio is better by worlds.
You can also use a smart pen etc.
From the pen of a not "fan boy", I have to say: Apple is the power in the tablet segment! You can still celebrate Android like that, but the manufacturers have technically simply missed the tablet!
I have everything through, from Surface to 3 different Android tablets, including a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and now the iPad Pro 12.9 "2018 model. In private as well as professional use as a power user.
It's hard, but the Android tablets are more of a children's toy for the "Android fan boys"! Thanks to iPadOS, the iPads are performance beasts that sometimes make PC / Mac useless. I cut and render 4K videos on the iPad and develop my photos on the iPad. My whole office runs over it.
The latency and general pencil performance alone is unmatched by third and unique features of the iPads. Smartphones are one thing, you can certainly argue about the added value of an iPhone, but anyone who seriously advises against iPads in the tablet area either has no idea or is blinded by the Android fan boy glasses.
