In my school we're now working with teams and when I downloaded the program I was asked if "my organization can make changes to my device" (or something like that). I clicked yes first because I didn't know what it meant. Now, however, I have to change my PIN for the laptop every few weeks because my organization requires it (although I do not want this) and I also get the occasional message that I have to restart the laptop because of my organization. With settings, however, I now find no option to withdraw this authorization from my organization / teams. I have Windows 10. Can someone help me?
This is a guideline that the user can't switch off. I wonder if your laptop is registered in the school domain? If so, there's nothing you can do except take the domain. Then, with a high probability, you can no longer use the team.
@ Fordragon12 Real? That's really stupid, should I have clicked Decline from the start?
(I'm not a professional, what is the school domain?) But probably yes.
A domain is a network membership. Instead of "Viola" you register with "Schule / Viola". The laptop is then part of the domain and is then assigned rules by the administrator of this domain, e.g. Change password every 30 days, certain programs may not be opened etc. Etc.
