Mail.web.de?

When I bought my new notebook, Win10 was preinstalled and an email address was assigned to my name (mail.web.de).

Since I use outlook.de and gmail.com my question: can I delete web.de or is there a specific reason that it was already installed?

I can't really imagine that the dealer has set up an email account in your name. You have to get something wrong.

Presumably the retailer simply preinstalled bloatware from web.de and receives money for it. Just take a look at the apps and uninstall all the trash. Always does well with new prefabricated computers.
