Get Windows Live Mail data back?

I have a problem again. It is so. I had the program Windows Live Mail installed on my old laptop and logged in to my GMX account (for about 7 years). Accordingly, I always have my mails on the laptop and also this program (WLM) retrieved. Now my laptop is in frits and I only have the hard drive. If I install this now in another laptop. Do I have exactly this interface as I had on the old laptop? And can normally retrieve my mails via Windows Live Mail via the desktop? Am I logged in then? Or you can somehow read this password on the hard drive? So I imagined it that way. Install old 2.5 "HDD in new laptop which also has Win7 and then just open the mail program.: / Yes? No?

No, it's not that easy then. For this it would have to be 100% identical laptop with identical hardware (so that everything works smoothly).

Can't you just reset the password on GMX? If necessary contact the support. https://hilfe.gmx.net/index.html

It is not possible to reset the password, it seems that 7 years ago, no contact e-mail was given. And support costs 3.99 euro per call without guarantee that it will bring something. So it must be a 100% same PC?

So you can just start Windows, yes. Are you sure the hard drive is still working?

You can theoretically connect the hard disk with a USB adapter to another laptop, but I strongly doubt that the password is stored somewhere on it (in plain text).

Yes hard drive is running properly. Have all the data backed up, only to this password, I'm not off.
