I bought a used Dell Lattitude E 5510 laptop from the dealer yesterday, quite cheap!
To date, however, was unable to activate Windows 7 or update from Window 7 to 10!
error code is: 0xC004F213 specified
"windows not activated because a product key is missing"
what is that? Can I get it from the dealer?
respectively.
"You can buy the original version of Windows for 199 euro!"
It must be? And is it worth it?
maybe someone has an idea what I can do best?
Look at the bottom of the laptop, there should be a key on it. Otherwise you have to buy a new one
Is probably not a valid key activated.
Talk to the dealer, vlt. Does he give you one?
If not, you can get cheap ones on ebay.com (Ebay.de account works there too; search for Windows 10 Home Key for Windows 10 to install directly and sort by price in ascending order and be careful not to catch a dealer who only has one Download link sold without key (which you can also find with 5 sec Google).
P.S.: Incidentally, the notebook you bought only has a little more than scrap value.
I read this number on the bottom
6505756201
is that the product key?
No, should consist of 5 blocks (numbers and letters)
You get the key (pay attention to the activation key) on ebay for little money, usually in the form of an email and often there's a link to download.
A scrap value just because the product key is missing?

is this the right product key for activation?
A Go to the dealer and ask.
B A Windows 10 key costs around 10 euro and is legal.
No
The product key is identified with the word product key
Letters are also included
Usually there are five groups of 5 characters each with a hyphen in between.
and the letters are all uppercase
at least from this you can roughly recognize a real product key.
I would not advise you to buy a product key. Or maybe here:

Another tip:
bring the LT back with the argument that you can't activate WIN7. Will be cheaper in the long run.
No, which Windows ignores refers to the laptop itself. This is the first generation of Intel i notebooks, which is freaky slow and the device has been 10 years old.
Thank you very much
Yes, but the tut too:

But then must install Win 10 Pro.
No idea if the CPU really packs Win 10.
Unless I have confused the model with the search.
So before you buy Win 10 Pro without a key (you can select small during installation) and test whether it works at all.
You can create a Win 10 installation USB stick free of charge with the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.
If the requirements have not increased very much since Technical Priview in 2015, it will probably run from scratch.
If the model I found is correct, the 32 bit version would probably be appropriate to install.
I bought it here in the usa, and not in Germany, so I calculate the purchase price in US dollars
