A few days ago I had a blue screen with the error code: SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION DO NOT HANDLED.
I have on it, as it says here. https://www.giga.de/...-handled/), uninstalled my graphics card driver. (From Intel and from nVidia.) But after restarting Windows 10 no longer recognized the Nvidia card. (It is no longer listed in the Device Manager. It also does not recognize GPU-Z.) I installed a gt 540m. (if that's important.)
Of course you have to reinstall your driver after uninstalling.
Logically, your graphics card will not be recognized without a driver.
You can download the driver from:
But Windows should at least display the map in Device Manager, shouldn't it? Basic graphics output works without an explicit driver via VESA
Only the drivers are shown in the device manager. Respectively. The associated devices.
That the basic graphics output works will be related to the fact that Windows usually gets the drivers for onboard graphics cards itself.
I've already tried it. The GraKa is not recognized. So in the program from nVidia
Do you have a laptop If not, then you can see if the GraKa is lit / the fans are rotating.
Possibly. You can also test it in another computer to see if it works.
As such, the GraKa abre should actually be recognized if it was recognized prior to driver installation, unless either Du, Nvidia or Microsoft made a mess of it.
What error message do you get when you try to install the driver?
