Do companies buy licenses to be able to mention certain things in series?

Actually unusual in sitcoms, but I noticed it especially in the big bang theory.

In the comic book store you can see batman, superman and co.

In season 5, episode 12, Sheldon can even be seen briefly playing red dead redemption.

They play xbox more often and have their halo evening too. Super Mario and co is also mentioned more often.

It seems like they didn't bother not to mention the brands.

Sheldon's laptop is from Alienware and you can see that clearly.

It's only now that I notice it so blatantly because I've started the series from scratch and want to look through it.

How do they do it?

Licenses should actually be bought, but integrating so many brands for a sitcom would have to be extremely expensive for docj.

Do companies come to production sooner and pay money for it or how?

Companies like Alienware pay producers to show their products. But the other way around, too, is that producers have to write to the companies and transfer money so that the brand can be used.

The companies sponsor the parts, but there's no mention of product placement at the beginning of the films

You see it so seldom. It was on the series that I noticed the most. Otherwise the series are always embarrassed.

Sure, big bang theory is very popular, but it's extreme.

I could go on with the series forever.

Lennard drives a Saab, he also mentions gta. Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are mentioned more often. Even well-known actors and even Stephen hawking make an appearance.

Penny drives a golf. Penny and Sheldon were at Disneyland

So far not paid attention to it. I'm watching the next episode, but I don't think so, because only the aperture comes with the atom and the introduction begins first
