CPU temperature 100 ° C with notebook?

Moin I just measured my laptop cpu temperature and it is just under 100 ° C.

The fan is also very loud. Is that normal? The laptop is now 10 years old and it may well be that the fan is dirty with dust.

Hold a vacuum cleaner to the fan, and no, that's not normal when you're not doing a lot.

As you have already recognized correctly, the fan is probably dirty. But since your notebook is 10 years old and nowadays much more power is used than before, the old notebooks are not optimized for today. The processor is used more, which in turn attracts more temperature. However, the 10-year-old mini-fan no longer comes along and therefore the CPU is significantly warmer.

Which processor is installed?
Possibly. Read out with Speccy and then post here.

The temperatures are read incorrectly on some processors (and programs) (such as my Ryzen, too).

Turn off the laptop, remove the battery, turn the laptop over, loosen all screws on the back and remove the bottom.

First remove the dust that is partially baked, then I would still loosen the screws of the cooling unit and remove the heat sink and apply new thermal paste to the graphics card and CPU.

Then assemble backwards again.

Should be like new.
