I bought a used GTX 980 on eBay. A benchmark was started at home and it was found that the performance is far too high.
The card achieved 14,500 graphic points in the Firestrike benchmark. However, there are between 11,000 and 12800 points on the Internet.
If I overclock the card by 150mhz, I even get 15500 points. That is the performance of an RTX2060 max q for laptops.
How can that be.
Maybe it's a 980ti
Perhaps liquid metal was used or you had already set an oc?
Didn't see anything here. As I said, I overclocked the card because the value was even higher at 15500 graphic points. But that's not normal either. Only 150 MHz were increased in the process.
