Moin, my SSD hard drive is full but I still have an HDD hard drive.
What things can I move to the hdd and especially how?
I just clicked my files folder and entered path hdd, but the ssd is not empty.
I have a laptop BTW so I can't easily get the hard drive out or insert a new hard drive.
Just because you copy it to the HDD, it doesn't automatically go away from the SSD. You also have to delete it from there afterwards. It depends on what you have on the SSD. In theory, you can pull everything over and important things remain on the SSD and HDD.
Music pictures Videos belong on the HDD.
You can delete the .exe after you have installed the program.
It's very easy with the "Treesize" software.
You see what is taking up space and you can simply move or delete it.
So do I have to move things the way I did and then delete the stuff on the ssd? And then things are not automatically deleted from the hdd?
Move to the HDD and then delete it from the SSD. No, they will only be deleted from the SSD.
If you want to gamble or load other things quickly, they should stay on the SSD and Windows should be on the SSD. Everything that does not need to be loaded quickly can be thrown onto the HDD.
I just clicked my files folder and entered path hdd, but the ssd is not empty.
And did you also use the "Move" button? Or just "OK" or "Apply"?
If there's a move, nothing then has to be deleted. The original is already gone. It's different with copying, but this is about moving.
I just think take over.
