In Word 2013 go to the tab "Paste", as you can you.a. Select page numbers.

You go to the top right on "File" then "Page Setup" and then opens another window where you can tick if WordPad should print the page numbers when printing
That depends on which office program you have on the laptop.
WordPad is too weak for sound word processing.
If you do not have any on your laptop, I advise you to install the free LibreOffice *. The text program of this is called "Writer".
