Got the old laptop from a buddy, he has a GTX 980m and an i7 6700HQ, in games, such as Valorant I have a stable 120 fps in WQHD on high settings, when changing laps the CPU load value suddenly shoots to 100% and I have 1FPS for 10-20 seconds, which shortens the purchase time to 10 seconds, in games like COD BO3 Zombies, When I open the team menu, the same thing happens, if I'm in-game and no in-game menu opens, I always have (WQHD / Full HD in CoD) stable 100-120 FPS until a new window opens.

The intel processors seem to support the graphics card by doing some work for them.
If that is too much for you, I would simply limit the FPS, then there shouldn't be much going on with the graphics load, but the process load would have to be less.
