I'm looking for a USB 3.0 to PCIe x16 adapter to test old graphics cards on my notebook (I know that I need an external power supply!).
USB 3.0 does not provide enough bandwidth.
Since you need Thunderbolt 3 or you use an internal PCI slot in the notebook with RiserCable.
Since you have to unscrew the notebook, however
I just want to test if the graphics card works, not play with her Sipele.
And a PCIe x1 slot has only ~ 4GB / s
There's no such thing, only Thunderbolt or the older ExpressCard could do something like that.
That's the horse's foot at (cheap) laptops.
OK thanks for the answer
Then just google for an adapter
