Microphone problem with the headset?

I have a headset with a jack and I can't use a microphone and speakers on my Windows 10 laptop at the same time

So you want to use your headset's microphone and laptop speakers together? That should go via the audio device setting - or right-click on the speaker symbol at the bottom right and then audio devices (I'm not 100% sure as it is called, I have no Windows PC available). And then the laptop speakers as the output device and the microphone from the headset as the input device.
