I wanted to wipe my laptop because there are now some small spots that bother me. I wanted to ask how I can best wipe the aluminum housing without leaving traces like water.
The miracle cure for everything is always glass cleaner (best from fit) and Zewa:-)
Really now? Glass cleaner really helps? Great, thank you ^^
I clean everything with it:-)
Without leaving traces after wiping like water.
A really slightly damp cloth does not leave any water behind, which is also the case for furniture. Do not use a dripping wet cloth, you have to choke it out so that not a single drop comes out ^^ (e.g. Choke the rest in a dry cloth?!)
No, does not go away without a trace, can attack surfaces, glass is something different
Then you have bad glass cleaner… The tool is designed to clean without leaving any marks or streaks
And you have a good one, haha, is for glass not anodized aluminum. Read the small print, test in an inconspicuous place! Lol
Whatever "anodized aluminum" should be
Aluminum is oxidized… Forms a layer of oxides
That is completely exaggerated… Nothing happens there… I would say yes with copper but not with aluminum surfaces, which are usually insensitive… You would have to use harder tools
I take a glasses cleaning cloth after cleaning the glasses ^^ In the production a cloth with denatured alcohol was used for anodized parts, but if glued on lettering etc. Are better then not.
Sure ^^ is almost pointless hair-splitting, but I don't even want to have glass cleaner on the windows, it leaves a (shine) layer that is difficult to remove over time, and it is then visible later. Technically, the aluminum housing should dissipate the heat from the CPU, so if you know how expensive the smallest differences in the thermal paste are, you would not smear a layer of soap on technically functional parts; -P… Some even put cooling cushions under the laptop
You have a quirk ;-)
And you two quirks ^^, one is ignorance, the second stubbornness xDD
I know everything you are telling me here… The question of how much weight you give the statements… Do you want to tell me now that the "glossy layer" affects the cool performance or do you want to tell me that the surface is visibly damaged by corrosion… Seriously… Hand sweat is more aggressive there
Both the cooling capacity and chemically active alcohols are not PH neutral. Everything should evaporate and leave a clean surface.
Hobby birthday, we're all doomed… The glass cleaner will kill us all
Ok, don't inhale too much radon, lol
This is a gas and can't be used to clean surfaces ;-)
