Minecraft Seed doesn't work?

I recently got Minecraft on the PlayStation because I don't have a laptop, and I did some research on what seeds are and how I use them. I picked out a seed for Dan with such a small island with a house etc. On it. Then I entered the numbers from the seed in this seed box when creating a new world, so and then I went into the world, and somehow there was only forest around me, even outside on the water there was no island with a house on it to see. Did I do something wrong, can someone please help me and explain it to me?

Do you mean village by house? Did you pay attention to the correct version?

Could be because the seed probably. For PC it was because the game is adapted for other consoles and things can change as a result

If the seed was created especially for the Java version, it will not work on the console version.

So most of the seeds are consoles, computers, cell phones and version dependent.
