Since yesterday i have had the problem that my laptop is running and the monitor remains black.
The light from the monitor flashes, i.e. It has power and the monitor is recognized in the display settings (screens 1 and 2). I can even move the mouse or a window over the monitor… This means that the monitor receives the signal from the laptop and the display is expanded as normal, but it just shows nothing.
Could it be the cable? I have a VDA-VDA cable with an adapter to HDMI.
I still have a monitor at home and when I plug my laptop in there everything works normally. However, the cable is HDMI-HDMI. Therefore I can't rule out whether it could be due to the adapter…
Yesterday it worked well and suddenly the display went black. I watched a series and funnily the series continued as usual with the black monitor…
I would appreciate your help:-) or has someone already had something like this?
I had the same problem and just unscrewed my laptop, removed the battery and removed the dust that has accumulated over the years.
Try it = press the fn key - bottom row mostly the 2nd from the left - and the key f5 or f6 - mfg.m.
Unfortunately it didn't work… Maybe the monitor is just broken…
It works with the TV and a monitor, so I don't think it's because of the laptop… But thanks for your answer:-)
Go to giga de there help is offered.mfg.m.
