I would get a good Ipad.
I usually always used pen and paper at university because my laptop is unfortunately too big and difficult to take with me. Otherwise I would also take my laptop with me.
It just depends on what you can write faster with.

I have a convertible. Depending on the case, I use the keyboard to write the notes into the script or I take the pen. It all depends on the subject, the note and the amount.
