I apologize for the long text but I wanted to describe it as accurately as possible.
So I bought a 'gaming' laptop about 5 months ago. Namely the Predator Helios 300th In itself, I'm very happy with him but a 'small' problem there: It is just too hot and I can't explain why.
At rest, or when I'm just surfing the Internet for a while, the temperature is around 45-50 ° C - so it's fine. But if I play a game (Let's take Dead by Daylight) the temperature goes up to 90 ° C within 15 minutes. And although I play the games mostly even on low to medium graphics. If I do skype on the side, which I usually do, it goes up to the 100 ° -105 ° C. I do not really know myself but that's not normal or right? So I mean that it is higher is clear but so extreme? The CPU is always 10 ° C higher than the GPU. Do not know if that's important now or not.
I already have a cooler (which you put under the laptop) but usually brings only 3-5 degrees difference. If anything.
Had my laptop already in the repair (hard drive was broken for unfathomable reasons) because I had already mentioned the extreme temperature. They then exchanged my fans. I do not know if he was really broken or just made it out of comfort. Probably second, it has brought nothing.
The extreme volume that cause my fan does not even interest me that way. More is my problem, I'm worried my laptop will not last long. In addition, I can't play comfortably because of the extreme heat he radiates, because my hands are sweating like the Niagara Falls.
Does anyone have any idea why this could be? Or how could I cool him even better? Or is everything normal and I worry unnecessarily?
That's definitely too hot, especially the CPU!
Would send him in again for repair
Well, the only thing I can advise: Lubricate all the heaters and heatsink with thermal lubricant and see if inside is blocked by dust.
Otherwise resort to warranty again.
I have nothing more to offer.
But apple is always 95 degrees and is throttled down look but the tech youtuber
That's why you do not buy gaming laptops, but real gaming PCs
If you want to save space but build a mini pc if seni must with wakü
Oh, and not on fabric.
Are many who have the laptop on the bed and then he can't cool well and it get small dust particles in the fan. But have you seen that you drunter something to cool.
Many thanks for your response! But apart from a broken fan, what else could it be? I would be reluctant to send him away again (especially because it has brought so little lately)
But apparently I can't handle that.
Hello there's a possibility by an external cooling there's still something to do.

Here you have a good selection.
Gaming and laptop are for me 2 things that do not match.
I think in a tower you have more options to install coolers.
I think either the fan is dirty, grinds somewhere or broken, I would possibly repair it.
It could be a broken sensor. It may be a faulty CPU, or a badly mounted cooler, a faulty voltage applied, etc…
Thank you for your answer. Already have a cooler of the brand "Klime" also from Amazon does not do much; / He was already at the repair. And came back unchanged.
What did they write to you about why it gets so hot?
Unfortunately, nothing. Stand only on the fact that they have replaced the fan. That's why I initially thought the goods were broken too. But apparently they were not. Would probably be made purely on principle. Of course, less effort than looking for the right problem; /
Today's gaming notebooks are sometimes really designed to be so hot because of the compact size.
Since you can't do much against…
Man could perhaps replace the thermal grease with better and again look at whether the fan rotates properly and adapts to the temperature.
What is the most common cause of overheating notebooks are dusty heatsinks → but what I almost do not believe after the short usage time → I would check the first but, unless it is since day 1 so:-)
Apparently you should pay attention to use a solid ground to play either you were that or the built-in fans are nothing
