How can I persuade my parents to buy a laptop?

I'm 13 years old and would like to have my own laptop. I used my mother's PC for school, gaming, … But that is always annoying because of something small that you have to fill out and it is not possible to switch on the PC on your cell phone. Especially now in the Corona period we're sent many tasks that we should work on in word. But I know that when I say it only comes: "Yeah, you're just sitting in front of it!" And if I then say that I'm not sitting there in front of me, then only would come: "I know that I can't keep your promises!" What should I do to get a laptop?

List advantages (possibly also disadvantages, whereby the advantages should be clearly predominant!). Try to understand her side as well and tell her that. You could argue that you need a laptop for school because you have a lot to do on it. If you both need the PC at the same time, you can simply grab your laptop. Suggest a compromise, like a number of hours a day spent on the laptop. Show her that she can trust you and that you keep your promises! (For a few sympathy points, it would be smart to help out a little bit in the household without asking you to do it. And if you already do that, you can do something more.)

There are child locks that can be switched on. On the other hand, you can block websites so that you do not have access to platforms that e.g. Offer games. Or you can simply reduce the useful life, so that the pc locks itself automatically after a certain time. Your parents can set it all up if they have concerns
