Persuade parents to switch to Nintendo Switch?

Hi

I (13 years old) have been trying for some time to persuade my parents that I can order a Nintendo Switch. All I have is an old Nintendo and a totally old bad laptop. And I'd like to just buy something new that I can play the latest games on and so on.

I would have the money and so on, but my parents just won't allow me. There are two reasons for:

1. They think I already have enough media and would gamble enough. 2. My little brother (8) would like to have one too. Don't know why, but he definitely wants one too. And that's why my parents don't allow me, because otherwise my little brother would be sad if he wasn't allowed to.

Well What should I do now?

Say that your brother will get your old Nitendo for this

He already has one

Because of Leptop, say you need him for school

Short question why a Nintendo Switch?

For 300 euro you get much better consoles that also get more up-to-date games

So

Say that the Nintendo Switch, unlike the Playstation and Xbox, is youth-friendly and child-friendly. You can also have real family fun with her with Mario Kart and Mario Party.

Then you can say the console is great for multiple players, your brother is welcome to play along. Say something like this: This is how I learn to share 😉

So

The console also comes with two controllers, for me and my dear brother 😁

You can say you need a new laptop for school

I would like to play Animal Crossing. In addition, you don't need an extra monitor or television with the switch. You can also take them with you on vacation etc.

Me and my siblings share a switch. That works pretty well

It is clear that he also wants one, but if you have really saved the money for it yourself, I think your brother has no right to have a say 🙈

Otherwise, I think it can be difficult to get your parents to change their minds, that would be easier with the old bad laptop, because especially in times of Corona where online teaching plays a role, a reasonably decent computer is advantageous, but they are also more expensive.

Well maybe you can wish your parents a favor for Christmas, I don't know if this will work, but you can try it
