Wi-Fi router and speed?

I moved into my first own apartment and now I still need my own Wi-Fi (I'm currently using my neighbors') … According to speedtest, 40 to 50 mbits download arrive and 0.5 to 0.8 mbits upload… Online gaming is hardly possible possible.

After research I decided to get a 100 mbits download and 50 mbits upload line… I know that 100 or 50 mbits will never arrive in full up and download

Now my question… Whether the 100 mbits line will be enough to play online on the ps4 e.g. The current cod warzone and which router would be best suited for the line

It has to be said that I will still have a laptop, a TV and my cell phone in this internet (not at the same time but it will be connected) and my apartment is 30 square meters

My consideration would be the fritzbox 7490… Does anyone have experience with that?

Yes, the speed is enough for online gaming, actually works perfectly with a 16MBit / s line, even if downloading games is bad

Is there a router in the contract? I got one for free and I'm very happy with it.

You don't need such a line, our family of 4 gets by with 10mbits upload, you won't need more.

If you connect your console via cable you will get everything.

The 50mbits download are also sufficient.

Yes, that's more than enough. Even 16mbit / s would be enough, but with faster internet you have much faster downloads, so it's definitely worth it.

I'm not an online gambler now. But the 100 Mbit should be enough, although other values are also important.

About the router: Today's everyone can do that. However, as a satisfied user for many years, I would always use the Fritzbox. We have at least 30 devices in the Wi-Fi with cell phones, Alexas, notebooks, tablets etc. Plus Powerline and everything runs like clockwork.

Good start in the new apartment

Thank you so much.

The contract would then be without a router because I would get a router and can thus save myself

Thank you very much… I just thought that 16 mbits would be too slow and 50 mbits would go but not the real thing, so I would have gone to the 100 mbits
