In advance I have no idea so much of PCs, so maybe that excuses my naivety. I got a PC for a very reasonable price with these stats:
Motherboard MSI B450M Gaming Plus
Processor AMD Ryzen 3 2200G (4x 3.7 GHz)
Thermal compound ULTRAFORCE COOL
Air cooler ARCTIC Freezer 33 Plus
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1660 6GB
DDR4 16GB PC 2666 CL15 G.Skill KIT (2x8GB) 16GVR Ripjaws
1TB SATA-III hard drive
24x DVD / CD burner.
SSD 240GB Intenso
Now I've noticed that the processor is not the best and that's why I wanted to ask if I can just make an Intel Core i7 8700 or another, better one.
(maybe it sounds stupid now and therefore sorry in advance).
I have an i5 6200 (4x2.3ghz) in my laptop 1. Is that better and 2. Can I just make it up there?
I just want to make sure of it like destiny 2, cod, assassins creed etc. On over constant 60fps games
Please do not steal me.
The processor from the laptop does not fit, and is also worse than yours.
You can install any AM4 CPU from AMD. If you are still 2 months wait then synonymous, the new Ryzen 7 3800X.
The strongest CPU you can buy today is the Ryzen 7 2700X, similar to the proposed i7.
But I would upgrade the Ram, DDR4-2666 is rather bad
And that is also supported by the remaining components, yes?
Most importantly, before I forget that: did you connect the monitor correctly?
He has to get the graphics card. And not on the board.
Of course otherwise I would not recommend it
While you're at it, get at least the same Ram, DDR4-3200 at least
The PC is not there yet, thanks good to know!
LOL… Then let go of it, it's much stronger than you think. Armament is really not necessary.
But remember, connect like this:
So you have a comparison, the Ryzen 3 2200G is almost twice as fast as your current processor in the notebook
Thank's for the Tipps. Yes, I've already grabbed everything 8n the basket at mindfacotry, want to see for yourself how it works. I have only seen in some videos that z. B. Destiny 2 on it just so wiggles to 30 fps and therefore worried
The 2200G has an integrated graphics unit. Most YT test values are comparative values for the graphics unit. Normally, the CPU + of the 1660 Destiny 2 should be able to easily get to 60 FPS. (At FullHD)
Hi
According to MSI you can upgrade to RYZEN 2700. The 2700X does not work anymore, maybe with a BIOS update, but I did not find anything.
You can't make an Intel on it… Only fit with a hammer.
Now I've noticed that the processor is not the best and that's why I wanted to ask if I can just make an Intel Core i7 8700 or another, better one.
No, that will not work. On the motherboard fit only processors with AM4 socket, so processors from AMD.
I have an i5 6200 (4x2.3ghz) in my laptop 1. Is that better and 2. Can I just make it up there?
The processor has a different socket, so it does not fit on the motherboard. In addition, it is probably soldered firmly in the laptop.
I would wait until the summer, then on July 7, the new AMD Ryzen processors appear. You can then make a BIOS update and obstruct a new processor. That's the best course of action.
Or take advantage of the then inevitable price drop and buy a Ryzen 2xxx.
Let's see how strong it will turn out. Depending on it, it is not worth buying a Ryzen 2xxx
