Does that work with 144hz?

I wanted to buy a monitor.

The model number is aoc gaming 24g2u

This monitor has 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, but my laptop only has one HDMI 2.0 port and no dp, so I ask if I can use a HDMI cable 144hz or if I should buy an HDMI 2.0 to dp 1.2 adapter (if there's one)

My cousin has HDMI 1.4 144hz but on the internet it is not possible

So you can try it out and test your Hz or something else, but mostly this works with HDMI.

It always depends on the monitor and you can do it, as you can read in the manual.

The question is rather whether the HDMI connection of your laptop also supports more than 120 Hz.

Thanks my laptop has an HDMI 2.0 port and I just tried it and can only recommend it to the monitor
