Since I'm currently working a lot on the laptop, I thought about getting a larger monitor for more relaxed work. I was wondering whether I should just buy a regular monitor or a curved monitor. What is a curved monitor useful for and when should I get one?
I will mainly use my monitor for university work (office, writing homework, online conferences) and occasionally for gaming (will connect my switch), if that is of interest.
Looks cooler done
Personally, I can only recommend a curved monitor, I have 2 of them myself and am very satisfied. Because the monitor is curved, you have a much better view of the screen and you don't need to close your eyes. So in my opinion it's a more relaxed way of working.
More pleasant for the eyes etc.
Samsung and Acer are winners
I would tend towards Acer hehe 😜
