Well, I currently have an Intel Pentium N3710 with 1.60GHZ in my laptop (it's a bit older) and I got the idea to overclock it. I know how and so but how high should I go up? The CPU has a maximum temperature of 90 degrees and it has 60-70 degrees when "gaming".
I had thought to go up to 2.0 GHz, is that too high or does it fit?
Laptops can't and should not be overclocked
How so
Does the thing even have a free multiplier and the options in the BIOS?
Overclocking laptops is pointless anyway
Overclocking creates more heat and the cooling of laptops is already at its limit anyway
I checked it out; the part boosts by itself to 2.56 GHz
Yes, I noticed that Task Manager, it says it runs on 2.56GHz
