Extreme FPS drops on the PC?

I have a "gaming" laptop with a Gtx 1060, until a few months ago all the games I had (Ark, R6, Cs: Go, etc.) ran smoothly on it. Then in Rainbow Six Siege FPS drops crept in over time that made playing impossible or very very bad playable, that is, before the game always ran with 60fps +, which it still does now, but the FPS drops every few Minutes or even seconds (!) To 5-20 which makes the game principle unplayable. Before everything went great on the highest settings, and now the FPS drops even on the worst settings. Same with CoD Cold War, which annoys me extremely since I just bought the game.

First super smooth until there are stutters at some point, more and more often which make the game no longer playable at some point. It is not due to the graphics settings (!) Because when it is running it also runs well on high settings, and if it jerks it does so on lower settings. This is now the case with almost all games. Is really screwing up the weekend, does anyone know what it is?
I'm grateful for every tip

Take a look at the temperatures, maybe the cooling system is now so dusty that the components overheat, that's quick with laptops.

Otherwise you can only recommend the standard procedure: delete everything unnecessary from the computer, update drivers, switch off energy-saving mode, etc.

Er

Find out what kind of components you have, go to the respective manufacturer's pages, and download the drivers. Especially that of the mainboard.

I think it's because of the chipsets. More precisely on the northbridge this is responsible for the communication between cpu, gpu and RAM
