MSI GV72 8RE-048 43.9 cm (17.3 inch) gaming laptop (Intel Core i7-8750H, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, Windows 10 Home) Black.
Am a guy who takes the laptop for everything, for example: "zocken WoW, CoH and many more, cut videos, edit photos unvm." I wanted to ask for opinions whether that is clever what you can keep for years? Of course, the price plays a role max. 1500 euro, for suggestions and expert advice gladly open and sorry Photo does not work.
Without an exact model, one can only guess.
Generally laptops are not good for gambling, especially not if it should last as long as possible. Because you can't upgrade, and the cooling is often so bad that it is only a matter of time before it dies of heat death.
Is a normal PC not an option?

No, because I play very rarely, but if so. Should also be a sorrowful work PC which I can of course take. The data is included in the answer
As long as you use the stationary or only operate at the socket, you can use the good. Probably one of the better laptops for games.
But if you try to tow it (almost 3 kg) and go mobile, you will be disappointed very quickly. Due to the strong hardware, the battery life is rather low and the performance in the battery use throttled strongly.
The one you suggested
MSI GV72 8RE-048
Is quite suitable for video and image editing. So generally a good workhorse with enough memory and good CPU, also the 17 "TFT is a nice size. The GPU can support well when rendering if you want that.
In gaming, it is not the strongest due to the GPU. Would not use it as a primary gaming notebook but one or the other game will work fine with it. Who wants more gaming power should go in the direction of GTX1070.
So I think your proposal is very balanced and good.
As others write here, notebooks are not really suitable for gaming. This is mostly due to the design and the resulting performance weaknesses.
And point out again that no Intel technology is to obstruct! Do I have to say that again and again?
😂😂 … Evil woman.😂
Yes this is not a problem where I take the laptop there's almost always electricity. I just wonder if there's something better for the price or if I can buy it? The current laptop is about 10 years old
Maybe there are better laptops for the same price?
Why? Does the laptop have Intel components built in or not at about 2 hours on the platform. I know the question was a bit confusing but is there anything better for the same price? Identify me in technology too little to have an accurate idea why I've signed up here to get several feedbacks. What would you recommend?
Your MSI is a GOOD CHOICE.

For PC systems (not notebook) I usually recommend AMD Platform because there's a better P / L available.
With notebooks my tendency is clear also to AMD Ryzen systems BUT that moves more in the lower price level and with notebooks where one wants to do more lowGaming (usually price range 350-500 euro). There, AMD Ryzen is clearly preferable to the Intel graphics solution.
AMD Ryzen with powerful dedicated graphics card (extra graphics chip (not included in CPU)) are very few in the market.
Hope it was understandable?

Here is a short overview:
If you want to do yourself a favor, avoid the following:
Intel Atom Zxxx
Celeron Nxxx
Pentium Nxxx and Pentium Silver Nxxx
AMD A4-12, E2 or similar
Are usable from:
Intel Pentium for example Intel Pentium Gold 4415u
Intel i3
AMD Ryzen 3/5, (Athlon 200/220 / 240ge (as PC Office solution)).
* Pentium Gold (eg Pentium 4415u Gold) please do not confuse it with Pentium Nxxx Gold (eg Pentium N5000 Gold).
If nothing else than Office or YouTube or similar is needed, it can also be an Intel graphics, but this is NOT suitable for gaming!
GPU As a minimum APU Ryzen 3 2200u with Vega 3 graphics, then only lowGames.
Better APU Ryzen 5 2500u, also there only lowGaming but better than Ryzen 3.
Next lowGames GPUs: Nvidia 130/1030, AMD RX550, AMD Vega 8
lower median: Nvidia 1050
better: Nvidia 1060
Top class Nvidia 1070/1080
CPU as mentioned above from Intel i3 and AMD Ryzen 3/5.
SSD from 120GB absolute minimum, better 250GB
RAM as a minimum 4 GB
Not many. https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...nbb=45c48c with larger SSD and a little more compact.
