I ask because the screen on my laptop is broken.
Easiest if your TV has a VGA connector and a suitable VGA cable, otherwise with HDMI connection
Connect the HDMI cable to the laptop.
Connect the HDMI cable to the TV.
Depends entirely on which outputs your laptop has (VGA, DVI, HDMI?) and which inputs your TV has (Scart, VGA, DVI, HDMI?). If there's an overlap, cables on, done. Otherwise, adapter on, cable on, done.
Best with Hdmi
Yes, the TV has a VGA slot, let's see if my laptop has it too. Then all I had to do was get a VGA cable. Would the VGA slot on the laptop also be an output?
Usually every television / laptop has an HDMI connection, with an HDMI cable you can then connect the laptop to the tv.
Yes this would then replace the laptop screen or display the same so mirror
I once heard that all slots on a laptop are pure outputs?! But I don't know exactly and have never tried it!
Thanks, I'll try!
Thank you very much
Many thanks
No problem.
If your laptop is not very old, then your laptop will definitely have one and every flat screen TV will have it too.
Such cables cost just a few euro and most supermarkets also have them in their range.
