How do you make it possible for two systems to access a partition that holds the data?

I have a multi-boot system on my laptop. My private data (pictures, documents, …) are on another partition. How can I set both systems to access this partition, even if they are in the user's home folder of the other system?

Sc

The partition must be formatted in a format that both BS can read and write. For example Fat 32 can be used by Linux distrie and Windows.

NTFS can also be read by both systems.

Sc

That's why it is also "for example".

Co

Yes, but somehow I got the message earlier that I have no access rights to this folder, because it was created in the other system under a user

Sc

Fat 32 does not know such restrictions. But there are NTFS.

Okay thanks

Windows complies with Linux set access rights? That's new to me.

I do not have Linux as a secondary system, but the Windows Insider builds
