Another location when registering a business?

I know the question is just stupid. But I want to be sure.

I live on Street X and will soon be registering a secondary business with small business regulation (programming websites).

I have a laptop, but I find programming on a PC more pleasant. But since I don't have a PC, I want to work in my brother's apartment. He also has a suitable office space for it. In short, I'll be working there most of the time.

Do I have to enter his address at the company office when registering a business?

If so. He is currently receiving ALG II from the job center. Could that cause problems for him?

As I said, the question is too stupid. But I have no idea.

Take your home address so that the mail arrives. The rest of the business doesn't matter.

Su

You can. Only then do not deduct the office space costs

Ka

Thank you!

Gr

How is it then with assembly companies. They are always active elsewhere, but practically never in the place where the business is registered. As the previous speaker said: All official mail is sent to the address given in the business registration and office costs can only be deducted from tax for this address.

No

The question is certainly not stupid. Rather the opposite.

Mention the room usage when registering your business. There you will already know how this must be entered.

I don't see any problems for your brother as long as you don't give him money for it.

However, if the condition is permanent, he should inform the job center about it, as he will make the room and his PC available to you for your commercial purposes (free of charge).

If necessary, his landlord must also approve this, since it is more or less a matter of subletting.

In the extreme case, I can imagine that the brother's services (costs for accommodation and heating) will be adjusted.

Actually, the company headquarters would be with you and the business premises with your brother. But because that could create problems for his benefit, I would only give your address. Where you sit at the computer is practically irrelevant.

Ka

Right. I know some people who even work on their notebooks abroad (or on vacation).
