Laptop suddenly turns black when playing, loses connection to everything and returns to normal after a few seconds?

Everything is described above. I seem to completely lose the connection for the time being. Videos running on YouTube will go down to the lowest resolution (visually) while YouTube is still the normal one. It has only happened so far in League Of Legends, although it could happen in other games as well (games League Of Legends the most, but it is striking that it only happened there).
