Hey Since my laptop had a broken display, I had to change it. Wasn't rocket science to swap it.
Problem now. The laptop can no longer be switched on. The lamp only lights up briefly. (Lamp that should indicate whether the laptop is on).
Well. Ehh. What's happening? Can somebody help me?
Would say you have connected something wrong or wrong, disassemble and look again.
Did you try to switch on in mains operation? Or was it battery operation
As well… As
Well. It is just a cable that you have to connect to the display. And that's 100% connected. I checked several times
Hm, would also try that from @Acidbrain…
Maybe you accidentally loosened the wrong cable
I also think that something is not right (maybe the plug is not quite inside?), And so the laptop switches off because it detects a problem with the display, for example.
I thought so too. As I said, there's only one cable.
Then I thought about whether the display might be damaged and got the old one. Still doesn't come on
And you bought the right screen? Is it compatible?
Yup. Exactly the same

Look here, if necessary connect to another screen via HDMI and do a fault diagnosis. Maybe there's more broken.
Goes bad if it does not turn on
Could be a fuse that jumps as soon as you turn on the device. That would indicate a short somewhere.
Unscrew again and see if you have not accidentally pinched a cable somewhere that causes a short circuit
Did you have to remove any other components to change the display?
Possibly. Could be a problem
Then you shorted it or what do I know, the battery is full?
Yup. Completely full. Well. The lamp lights up briefly
