I bought a laptop today at Saturn (I5 8th generation, 8GB Ram, Gtx 1050 4GB Vram) and found that the fan is relatively loud even in games like Alan Wake (2010), compared to notebooks because of their small size normal Pc?
According to the Internet, I could still pack Gears of War 5 with the device, but if that is already a bit loud at Alan Wake, does the part fly away at Gears 5?
Is VSync enabled? Otherwise it can happen grad old games, that he is rendering 789 FPS and thus gets so loud.
Is just a laptop. Of course you can't expect a fancy cooling system. Old, new… Does not necessarily play a role. For example, if old games are designed for single or dual core CPUs only, then AW can also junk if two out of four or more cores are running at full capacity or the graphics card is warmed up even during light games.
Thank you for your question.
Yes, that can happen that your fan gets loud.
The reason is relatively obvious:
In the laptop, the components have less space, whereby the warm air could accumulate something and thus have to turn the fan more to blow the warm air to the outside.
If it's really too loud for you, you can upgrade the fans (if possible) to guarantee better performance. (But beware: when you open the laptop most of the time the warranty disappears!)
That is normal. This is a laptop, because the cooling can't be as good as in a tower…
So I do not have to worry if I download Gears of War 5 on Friday and the fan gets very loud? 😅

Gotta have a look, thanks for the tip.
No. That laptops are like that is not unusual. If you look at a normal tower PC, then take a look at the cooling system. In contrast, cooling in a laptop is not that great.
There are laptops that have a better cooling concept with comparable performance and are therefore quieter under load than other models.
One should read therefore before buying reputable reviews, there we also always tested the fan volume.
Conclusion: You've just bought a device that has loud fans under load.
You do not have to worry, the part is then just loud - by the way, a criterion for not buying something like that.
