I've recently noticed that my Hdd is broken and wanted to ask if I can just replace them with a new one and Windows can install on it (I have a laptop and the data I do not care)

Theoretically yes, the HDD must of course have the same connections and dimensions.

The best way to expand and enter the type designation on the Internet, then the data is output. If, then I would get me an SSD, since they have no more mechanics and the calculator feels instantly 50% faster.

Windows as "normal" install, with Win10 a re-registration is not necessary, since the PC remained in the basic elements and with MICROSOFT was already registered by the original installation
