Correct asynchronous (mobile) video?

I found two old videos from an old mobile phone on my laptop and wanted to paste them into a photo book (works somehow via a QR code).

However, I noticed when looking at the fact that after a few seconds, the video is suddenly asynchronous, so the sound depends on.

Is there any way to correct that? By free computer programs or something? I'm not a technical expert, so it's best to be as simple as possible.

If the asynchronism is the same over the whole video length, then only the soundtrack is shifted by a few ms. Otherwise, the frame rate (like many frames per second) is incorrect.

It seems to be the more complicated case with you:-(.

Have you ever converted or forwarded via messenger or are they directly from the camera?

Are they asynchronous under VLC?

If there too, the video file is faulty.

Then:

Could you give an example (if necessary by PM, if you are too private), so that you can see why?

If it works correctly on VLC, convert it to a fixed frame rate once for your program (but keep the original!) Because your program obviously can't handle variable frame rates. If a variable frame rate video is incorrectly rendered as such at a fixed frame rate, the skew between the video and sound tracks will fluctuate wildly.

Unfortunately, I do not know any "simple solution" to fix it. Personally, I would look at what exactly it is and then take ffmpeg grab. The repair is often possible without recoding the video stream (ie feasible without loss of quality).

So the videos have been sent on, but that would have to be the originals directly from the camera.

Have you just played with VLC and synonymous because they are unfortunately asynchronous after a few seconds: /

I'll send you the same time by PM.
